Dans cet article je vais expliquer pourquoi et comment j'ai déménagé aux Etats-Unis.

Alors depuis longtemps je savais que je voulais partir à l'étranger et parler une autre langue.

Devenir bilingue en espagnol ou anglais était mon plus grand rêve étant petite.

J'ai pas mal voyagé avec ma mère par le passé et çela m'a beaucoup aidé à avoir un esprit plus ouvert sur le monde.

Vous vous demandez surement pourquoi Los Angeles ? Pourquoi les Etats-Unis ?

Je vais plus expliquer cela dans les prochaines lignes.

Pour commencer j'ai été en maternelle , école élémentaire , collège et lycée en banlieue parisienne , lorsque j'étais en maternelle j'étais très amie avec une fille qui venait tout droit des Etats-Unis donc elle était américaine , elle était blonde aux yeux bleus , super adorable , nous allions même à l'église ensemble.

C'était ma partenaire , ma meilleure amie j'étais tout le temps chez elle et lorsque jétais chez elle sa mère et ses frères et soeurs parlaient en anglais , je pense que étant petite cela m'a beaucoup influencée.

A l'âge de 6 ans cette fille est repartie vivre aux Etats-Unis je me souviens avoir été super triste et depuis je n'ai plus jamais eu de nouvelles ...

Arrivée en primaire j'ai rencontré une fille à moitié française et anglaise.

Nous sommes restées meilleure amie jusqu'à mes 11 ans.

Sa mère était anglaise et son père français et lorsque j'allais chez elle sa mère lui parlait en anglais et je ne comprenais rien mais je trouvais ça tellement beau.

Depuis mon but numéro un était de devenir bilingue.

J'ai voyagé à Londres mais je ne me voyais pas vivre là-bas , il faisait bien trop froid pour moi .

Je suis allée à New-York , Miami beach , Washington DC , Chicago , Springfield et je trouvais que les Etats-Unis me correspondait beaucoup plus.

Venons au vif sujet du comment je me suis retrouvée aux Etats-Unis.

Lorsque j'étais en terminale , comme tout le monde nous devions trouver une école postbac et envoyer tous nos dossiers d'inscription sur APB.

Je ne suis pas passée par APB mais j'ai fait pas mal de portes ouvertes à Paris

et j'ai été à des salons étudiants et c'est au salon étudiants : études à l'étranger où j'ai trouvé mon université , j'hésitais tout de même de partir après le bac ou soit après avoir fait deux ans d'études en France.

J'avais 19 de moyenne en anglais en terminale , j'avais donc déjà les bases mais je n'étais pas bilingue , j'étais vraiment motivée à partir.

J'ai donc été parlé à ma prof d'anglais , et cette dame avait fait ses études à San Francisco.

Je lui ai donc demandé conseil par rapport à ma situation , elle m'a conseillé de partir directement après le bac et de pas perdre mon temps , elle a écrit une lettre de recommandation en anglais pour l'école que j'avais trouvé.

L'école se trouvait à San Francisco , j'ai été accepté , visa accepté à l'ambassade américaine de Paris aux Champs Elysée et j'ai du envoyé une lettre de motivation mais aussi des travaux écris pour avoir une bourse.

J'ai obtenu une bourse pour m'aider à payer mes études.

J'ai du passé un test de langue ( le TOEFL ) c'est un test d'anglais américain sur ordinateur qui dure 4h , il y a une partie reading ( lecture ) , speaking ( orale )

writing ( écrit ) , listening ( écoute ).

Je devais avoir un maximum de points pour intégrer mon école et j'ai eu le bon score grâce à Dieu.

En Juin 2016 j'ai donc obtenu mon baccalauréat STMG et puis en octobre j'ai déménagé à San Francisco.

Je suis restée là-bas pendant un an.

En juillet 2017 je suis retournée à Paris pour travailler et me faire de l'argent .

J'aimais bien San Francisco mais la ville était hors de prix.

Il faisait froid et pleuvait tout le temps , j'ai donc eu la possibilité de transférer mon dossier dans une université à Los Angeles.

Je fais des études de Business ( Commerce ) en Californie , mes cours sont en anglais.

J'ai réalisé mon rêve d'enfant et aujourd'hui je suis épanouie dans ce que je fais.

Je vous encourage vraiment à suivre vos rêves même si cela parait parfois difficile mais si on veut on peut tout faire et il ne faut pas se donner de limite.

In this article I will explain why and how I moved to the United States.

So for a long time I knew that I wanted to go abroad and speak another language.

Becoming bilingual in Spanish or English was my biggest dream being a kid .

I have traveled extensively with my mother in the past and it has helped me a lot to have a more open mind on the world.

But why Los Angeles? Why the United States?

I will explain this in the next lines.

To begin with ,  I went to the elementary school, college and high school in the Paris suburbs, when I was in elementary school I was friend with a girl who came straight from the United States so she was American, she was blonde with blue eyes, super sweet, we even went to church together.

She was my partner, my best friend was always at home and when I was at her  house ,  her mother and her brothers and sisters spoke English, I think being small that influenced me a lot.

At the age of 6 this girl went back to live in the United States I remember being super sad and since I never had news ...

Arrival in primary school I met a girl who was half French and half English.

We stayed best friend until I was 11 years old.

Her mother was from England  and her  father was French , and when I went to her house , her mother spoke to her only in English , and I did not understand anything but I thought it was so beautiful.

Since then my number one goal was to become bilingual.

I traveled to London but I did not see myself living there, it was too cold for me.

I went to New York, Miami Beach, Washington DC, Chicago, Springfield and I found that the USA matched me a lot more.

Let's get to the point of how I ended up in the United States.

When I was in terminal, like everyone else we had to find a post-school and send all our registration files to APB.

I did not go through APB but I did a lot of open doors in Paris

and I've been to student shows and it's at the student fair: studying abroad where I found my university, I hesitated anyway to leave after the baccalaureate or after having done two years of studies in France.

I was 19 average in English in terminal, so I already had the basics but I was not bilingual, I was really motivated to leave.

So I talked to my English teacher, and she told me that she went to San Francisco for the university.

So I asked her for advices about my situation, she advised me to leave directly after high school and not waste my time, she wrote a letter of recommendation in English for the school I had found.

The school was located in San Francisco, I was accepted, visa accepted at the American Embassy in Paris at the Champs Elysee and I sent a letter of motivation but also works written to have a scholarship.

I got a scholarship to help me pay for my studies.

I have passed a language test (the TOEFL) is a test of American English on computer that lasts 4 hours, there is a reading part, speaking (oral)

writing, listening.

I had to have maximum points to integrate my school and I had the good score thanks to God.

In June 2016 I got my STMG degree and then in October I moved to San Francisco.

I stayed there for a year.

In July 2017 I returned to Paris to work and make money.

I liked San Francisco but the city was overpriced.

It was cold and raining all the time, so I had the opportunity to transfer my file to a university in Los Angeles.

I study Business in California, my courses are in English.

I realized my dream ,  and today I am fulfilled in what I do for real.

I really encourage you to follow your dreams even if it sometimes seems really hard or impossible ,  but if you want it you can do everything and you must not limit yourself.
